  • Ferry boats are made up of wood, there are generally about a 100 feet in size.
  • The capacity of the boat is 90 people for a party package addition to the catering team and the boat captain and the crew members.
  • The boat is divided into 2 decks upper and lower deck, the upper deck is spacious and also has the captain cabin, during a party setup it is generally used to lay out buffet dinner, it also has seating capacity for guest which is fixed seats on each side of each boat.
  • You can enjoy breathe taking views of the Arabian Sea, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai docks and harbour.
  • The lower deck is the covered area on the ferry boat which also has fixed seating for guest on each side, the upper and lower can fit 70 people seating at any given time.
  • Lower deck has a washroom, a console area for multipurpose usage, in parties it is generally occupied by the caterers where soft beverages, mineral water and the Dj are set up.
  • The pantry in the lower deck is generally on the rear side of the boat where the caterers can cook meals in the boat by using gas, no electric devices can be used on the ferry.
  • The ferry boat has only one single entry from the lower deck into the boat, while cruising the guest are accompanied by the boat captain and its 2 crew members, short pleasure ferry boat rides in the Arabian sea are most preferred by tourists to get a view of Mumbai port and the numerous ships that are docked there.
  • Ferry boats are among the most preferred boats for parties due to their large passenger carrying capacity, for parties we have to take prior permissions from the port, which requires a minimum of a week, for normal cruising sunrise or sunset sails no permissions are required.
  • If you are looking to host a party for more than 60 to 90 people, renting a ferry boat would be the most ideal and affordable option!!
  • The party package includes permissions for the party for 3 hours of cruising, permissions for the caterers, Dj and music set up with speakers, lights, generator, balloon décor for the entire boat along with the gate of balloons, generators, carpets.
  • The ferry boat is equipped with 4 tables and 35 chairs approximately on the boat.
  • The boats are hired for minimum 3 hours full cruising,
  • Parties (with the party package) are generally preferred from 6 to 9pm or 7 to 10 pm.

  • Outside food can be carried on board or can be ordered on special request.

 

  • Reporting time is 20 mins prior to the departure time of the boat.
  • All guest on board need to carry Photo ID proof.
  • We request you to wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
  • Cursing is dependent on the weather conditions, please do keep some time on hand for certain delays if any on the shore itself due to a lot of traffic / crowd at the Jetty or bad weather conditions.
  • The trip will only be postponed or rescheduled if at all the conditions on sea or land are inappropriate to carry out the activity.
  • The ride starts from the (jetty) Gateway of India, the entire sailing takes place at the Mumbai harbour which is away from the shore and ends back on the Jetty no 1 itself.
